Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) on Oct 18 informed that they would submit their reports on the Commonwealth Games 2010 audit within three months.
CAG chief, Vinod Rai explained their three audit agenda as saying, "the physical out come of expenditure, accountability, and whether it has been most optimal utilization of resources."
14 out of 24 government departments belonged to the Delhi government, which all would face interrogation and they might have to explain about their expenditures during the Games.
An interim report of the CAG submitted before the Games began found that consultants picked for sponsorship and broadcast rights deals had been selected despite not offering the best terms to the Organizing Committee.
