India's net direct tax receipts, which include corporate tax and personal income tax payments, during April-October grew 17.82 percent on year, a government statement said on Thursday.

"Net direct tax collections in the first seven months of the current fiscal crossed the mark of rupees two trillion and stood at 2.04 trillion rupees as on October 31," the statement said.
