Invitation for empanelment of Experts/faculties for Certificate Course on Information

                                               Systems Security

In this era of Information Technology and digital world, Information security is needed for protecting
information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or
destruction. Information Security defines the security controls in order to protect the information assets from
various information threats. Considering the importance and relevance of domain expertise in the area of
Information systems Security for Chartered Accountants, the Committee on Information Technology of ICAI
is going to start a Certificate Course on Information Systems Security (ISS).


For effectively organising this Certificate Course, the Committee is inviting applications from IT Experts
possessing CISSP/CCIP certification with Minimum 5 years of Professional experience in the field of
Information Systems Security and teaching experience at Post Graduate level in IITs, IIMs, Central/ State
Universities in the following areas:






    (1)   Fundamentals of Information Security
    (2)   Information Security Governance and Access Controls
    (3)   Risk Management in Enterprises Environments
    (4)   Telecommunication and Network Security
    (5)   Cryptography
    (6)   Operational Security
    (7)   Information Security Standards and Regulatory Issues

The Committee also proposes to develop series of Case Studies for Certificate Course on Information Systems
Security to be used as part of the course deliberations. Each case study should preferably contain a brief
synopsis, objective, test data, processes/ procedures to be followed, sample reports and their interpretation.


The honorarium for taking the sessions during the certificate course would be Rs. 2000/- per hour. Apart from
this, incidental expenses including travel and stay for outstation sessions will also be paid at actual as per ICAI
rules.
