Madam/Dear Sir,
The President, in terms of the authority given to him by the Council at its 363rd meeting held on 12th February, 2017, has re-constituted the Group (i) to study the existing norms for the appointments/re-appointments of statutory / internal auditors of various units of ICAI for the year 2016-17 suggested by the Audit Committee and (ii) suggesting the criteria to be followed for such appointments in future, with the following composition:-
- CA. Prafulla P. Chhajed, Convenor
- CA. M.P. Vijay Kumar
- CA. K. Sripriya
- CA. Prakash Sharma
CA. Ashok Kapoor, Dy. Secretary will continue to act as Secretary to the said group.
The President has requested the Group to complete the task at the earliest so that the report of said Group can be placed at the next meeting of the Council.
