A) Topic - 1: Optimizing PQ, IQ, EQ & SQ

Brief: Inviting reflections on the art & science of balancing the -4- important quadrants of life-
Physical Quotient, Intelligence Quotient, Emotional Quotient and Spiritual Quotient. Elaborating
importance of striking a balance between these -4- as well as concerns resulting from absence of
either of them.

B)Topic - 2: Swaccha Bharat Abhiyaan ­ Beyond broom to good governance

Brief: Inviting reflections on whether the cleaning initiative of "Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan" be
restricted only to cleaner roads & litter free environment? How can dignified & intellectual
professionals like Chartered Accountants contribute to make Bharat "Swaccha" in real sense?

C) Topic ­ 3: Practice Management With Effective Use Of Technology

Brief: Inviting reflections on use of wide range of conventional and non-conventional techniques
for effective practice management.






D) Topic ­ 4: Are Entrepreneurial skills inborn or can it be developed?

Brief: Inviting reflections on various talents, skill-sets, qualities and personality traits that need
to be acquired and developed, by putting in a lot of time and hard work to emerge as an
entrepreneur; if these are not in-borne, can these be cultivated or developed?

E)Topic ­ 5: Money Matters /Managing funds ­ personal to corporate funds

Brief: Inviting reflections on rising above the conventional attitude on savings & investments as
well as making optimum use of available options to strike right balance in your portfolio.
Enlightening on various newer options, strategies & avenues to make your money grow ­ faster,
steadier and wiser!

F) Topic ­ 6: State & National Allied Laws - Provisions Relevant to CA

Brief: Inviting reflections on various State as well as National Allied laws, [except Corporate
Laws, Direct & Indirect Tax Laws] & provisions relevant to CAs so as to keep abreast with
changes in legal sphere; discussion on various practical issues, procedures and reporting
requirements along with a special focus for an overall impact.

G) Topic ­ 7: Accounting and Auditing Standards- Important provisions in brief

Brief: Inviting reflections on demystifying the important provisions of Accounting and Auditing
Standards, in brief.

DIRECTIONS FOR PAPER SUBMISSION:

   1.   Member can submit paper on any one or more topic/s mentioned above;
   2.   The paper should be minimum 2000 words & Maximum 3000 words;
   3.   The font to be used Times New Roman, font size of title 14 and for content 12;
   4.   The last date of receiving the soft copy of the paper in PDF is 25th July, 2016, 5 pm;
   5.   The paper to be sent by email to editor@puneicai.org in the following manner ­
