India's indirect tax receipts grew 11.5 per cent during the April-June period from a year earlier to 543.41 billion rupees, the finance ministry said in a statement on Monday.
Excise collections were up 2.8 per cent at 258.82 billion rupees in the first three months of the 2008/09 fiscal year, while customs duty receipts rose 20.9 percent to 284.59 billion rupees.
