Finance minister P K Amat on Saturday inaugurated an e-library for students of the Institute of Cost Accounts of India (ICAI), Bhubaneswar chapter.
About 120 students can avail the facilities of this library at one time and it has stocks of nearly 4,000 books.
President of ICAI AS Durga Prasad said they plan to expand this library and keep about 10,000 books more in this library.
Speaking at the programme, the finance minister said the library would prove to be a great help for students to fulfill their mission and build a career in this field.
Amat also told students that Odisha was going to be one of the industrial hubs in the country with several leading industrialists' showing interest in setting up their projects here.
Chairman of the Bhubaneswar chapter of the ICAI, Manas Ranjan Lenka and chairman of the eastern zone of the institute Srikanta Sahu also spoke on the occasion.
