CA employee robbed of 3 lakh

An accountant was looted of Rs 3 lakh outside his office in Athwalines area on Monday when he was about to enter the office. The victim is employed in a chartered accountancy firm in Athwalines near Seventh Day School.

In the incident, Jayvadan Jardosh arrived at his office in Athwalines on Monday at 12.15 with a bag containing Rs 3 lakh. He had parked his vehicle near the office and was about to enter the office premises when two youth came on a bike and snatched the bag. Faces of the accused were open but Jardosh could not notice as the entire incident took place in seconds.

Jardosh could not notice the number of the bike as the accused fled from the location quickly. Jardosh had returned after collecting the money from ICICI bank in Athwalines and police believe that the miscreants must be following him from the bank.

In past, police had issued notifications asking firms to sought police help while cash in bulk is being transferred from one place to another.
