MP govt fixes 13% VAT on smartphones

Commissioner of commercial taxes Amit Rathore said in Khandwa on Friday that the state government has fixed VAT on smart phones, being sold in the markets in the name of Fablets, under section 70 of VAT Act. The state government will be charging VAT of 13% on such gadgets.
