The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) president Prakash Agarwal here on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for ICAI Bhawan' in Bharuch.

"The bhawan will be constructed soon and will be very helpful for the upcoming industries and students studying chartered accountancy," Agarwal said.

Bharuch MLA Dushyant Patel, GIDC divisional manager for central Gujarat Digvijaysinh Parmer and CA professionals and students from Surat, Bharuch and Vadodara were present on the occasion.

Agarwal guided the students on how to do well in CA examination.

Bharuch branch president SM Pareek said students should concentrate on self study than completely depending on private coaching classes.
