India-based managed hosting provider Netmagic Solutions (netmagicsolutions.com) announced on Monday it has partnered with HP (hp.com) to help meet the growing demand for mid-market data center and managed services in India.
This alliance will see Netmagic partner with HP to offer preferred hosting and managed services in India, as the two companies will jointly market and sell the hardware and hosting services focusing initially on the emerging segments including retail, healthcare, utility, education and manufacturing.
Netmagic will provide hosting services to customers, including data center services and managed hosting, while HP will provide the necessary hardware. This agreement will enable HP to offer their Midmarket partners and customers a complete solution by way of infrastructure, applications and now, hosting and managed services.

With multiple data centers in Mumbai and Bangalore, NetMagic has been offering hosting services for India-based customers, along with the monitoring and management of their technology infrastructure for the past 10 years.
Currently, Netmagic is India's only truly carrier-neutral data center that is ISO 27001 certified and SAS70 Audit (Type II) compliant.
In February, after receiving $20 million in financing, the company launched its global expansion by building its presence in North America. NetMagic currently has a virtual data center in Sunnyvale, California.
