The customs department inaugurated a website to provide an easy access to information of duty and regulatory requirements for import. The website was inaugurated by SK Goel, chairman, central board of excise and customs.

"CBEC has developed this application as part of the ongoing trade facilitative measures. One will be able to see various customs and other applicable duties. It will also help in calculation of actual effective duty applicable by taking into account various exemption notifications, " said an official.
