The preferential test for Chartered Accountancy (CA) had to be cancelled for nearly 70 students who found difficulty answering the online examination because of connectivity problems. About 93 students were to appear for their test on Saturday from three different laboratories.
Officials said in two laboratories, there was no connectivity and hence only 23 students were able to appear for the examination that stretched over two hours. Sanjay Shah, chairman of the Chartered Accountants Association, said there were problems in the server and hence the examination was cancelled.
The same would be conducted again on September 26 for those students who could not take the test. He said if there was any other examination falling on the same day, it would be organised again for those students who would not be able to take their examinations.
